Job Description
LTL Pricing Manager supports multiple business units and we be on the frontlines of executing a pricing strategy for Cavalry Logistics. This position is a cross functional position and excellent interpersonal skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, translate, and implement LTL carrier rates/discounts for customer specific pricing initiatives
• Perform analyses of pricing programs and rate structures to obtain the optimal cost and service with LTL carriers
• Work closely with sales to target potential customers and operations to make service adjustments per client requests.
• Ensure the accuracy of blanket and specific rate structure
• Work with accounts payable and carriers to resolve invoice/pricing discrepancies
• Negotiate with carriers to minimize accessorial and line haul discounts.
• Develop a seamless platform with internal IT department
• Manage the RFP process with LTL carriers and communication flow to client

Requirements and Skills

• 3-5 years of LTL experience preferred
• 2-3 year of experience with pricing contracts and rules tariffs
• Must possess strong analytical, problem-solving, project management and technical skills

The salary for this position is roughly $75-90k (based on experience) with possibility for additional commission-based incentives.

Our Business Development Manager role is dedicated to the pursuit and cultivation of new business relationships in order to achieve maximum market penetration within the Region. A cross-functional role, our Business Development Manager is responsible for making customer sales calls within their regional territory, providing explanation of Universal Logistics Holdings Inc. wide ranging transportation services, and maintaining relationships with customers.

We provide total and complete trucking operations by integrating our existing trucking capabilities with our entire network, adding a common infrastructure and ways-of-working, and supplementing existing trucking with additional services to complete the service offerings. We manage and operate some of the largest fleets in North America. We provide a complete range of lift capacity assets, expertise to fulfill virtually any transportation need.

  • Grow the profitability of our regional offices by bringing on new business.
